===== 1. Installing the Openvpn software =====


  - Download Openvpn for Windows : on [[https://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/downloads.html|the download page of the OpenVPN website]], choose "Installer, Windows Vista and later"
  - Install the program, keeping the default options
  - During the installation phase, agree to the installation of the additional programme

===== 2. Configuring the software =====

  - Copy the {{ :protectionnumerique:vpn:n2h.ovpn |}} file in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Openvpn\config folder (for Windows 7 and above) or in the C:\Program Files\Openvpn\config folder (without the x86) for Windows XP or Vista

===== 3. Using the software =====

  - During installation, a shortcut to the “Openvpn Gui” is created on the desktop
  - Launch the “Openvpn Gui” programme as an administrator (by right-clicking and selecting “Execute as administrator” in the context menu
  - An icon appears in the task bar (on the bottom right)
  - Right-click on the icon and select “connect”
  - Enter the username and password Nothing 2 Hide gave you
  - The message “connected” appears. The VPN is installed and connected.
